Widespread mite infestations, unusual web-spinning mite activity, and climbing mealybug pressure are all hitting right as harvest moves fast.

  • Hot, dry weather is speeding up mite reproduction.

  • Prior-season chemistry choices are shaping resistance now.

3 Moves This Week

  • Scout early. Don’t wait for visible webbing or damage — check the canopy interior, not just the edges.

  • Rotate chemistries. Alternate contact, IGR, and systemic classes to slow resistance.

  • Time it around harvest. Confirm pre-harvest intervals before you spray.
